When did you first hear the heart beat on a home doppler?

I am 10 weeks and a couple of days and I havn't been able to find the babies heart beat. Im not supper worried. The directions said it may not work until 12 weeks but I have sean other women on these boards say they found it as early as 9 weeks. I have found my own pulse a couple of times but thats about it.

 When did you first hear the heart beat on a home doppler? and what was the heart rate?

I heard it at 9 weeks. The heartbeat was around 170, which is about what the doctor had said it was a week earlier at the ultrasound. It was low in my pelvis and kind of at an angle. After the first time finding it, it's become easy to find even though the baby moves around. I lay on the floor with a pillow under my butt and with my legs bent.

I found mine at 9.5 weeks.  I do mine standing while stretching my stomach up.  I find it every time a little to the right and above my pubic bone.  Be patient, you will find it.

Pretty much all of this.

I also looked up Youtube tutorial. Some chick walks you though it and it really helped me to know where to look- a lot lower than I would have guessed.

With my 1st pregnancy I didn't try until later (15-16 weeks?). With this one I tried at 9 and 10 weeks with no luck, but finally heard it at 11w2days. Mine doesn't have the HB readout display and I haven't been able to keep it long enough to pull out my timer and time it yet.
