I'm almost 26 weeks, and so far so good! I have my 1hr GTT on Wed, and an MFM appt on Thursday.

 

QOTW: the first thing we bought was (and this is crazy) the convertible car seats! We got a ridiculous deal on them in FEBRUARY. I was really nervous to buy them that early. They're still in boxes in the garage with the receipt taped to them.  It took me a while, but now the floodgates have opened and the shopping is in full force.

 Hanging out in the hospital, trying to behave! Hoping the HG calms down soon, and that I quit loosing weight. Still on bed rest. Having some low back pain occasion, but no painful contractions. Baby b was ~5 lb 15 oz and bab a was ~4lb 9oz on thursday. They did great on the BPP and NST. One day at a time! 

QOTW: I didn't buy anything until we found out the sexes. After our u/s I went to target and bought two little outfits. We bought cribs and carseats the same weekend.

I was put on light duty last week due to frequent contractions. Now I'm just trying to figure out what my daily activity tolerance is, and trying to choke down a lot more water, ugh. I'm looking forward to our next appointment (next Monday) but wishing it was for another u/s. Love getting to see those little girls!

QOTW: I'm pretty sure our first "multiples" related purchase was our stroller-BJCS. Can't wait to use it in June/July!

Unrelated to the QOTW: I had a dream this morning that I set Baby B down somewhere and then couldn't remember where I put her! I'm already dreaming about misplacing a baby, great...

29w2d!  Eight days further than we thought we would make it, so I'm a very happy momma!  Daily NSTs are going well and the hospital room is definitely becoming our home away from home.  I'm home sick, especially for our furry kiddos, but I'm so incredibly thankful to still be here and have the boys still growing!  Wednesday is my husband's birthday (and 5 years since he proposed!) and my OB plans to have me take the GTT.  I'm hoping I pass since we're going to order pizza that night, eat chocolate cake, and have a movie marathon.  It's nice to have fun things to look forward to.

My first purchase was a stuffed elephant that plays music when you pull on his tail.  I bought it when we entered second tri.  Every night I play the music for the boys and they have a dance party.

Things are going well. I'm hurting in my pelvic region bad when moving too much, but otherwise feeling good. NST's are going well. I start BPP's next week and I have another growth scan. Things are getting busy that's for sure!  

I honestly don't remember what our first purchase was. I think a pack n play, because our old one is broken. Also bought 2nd crib and new video monitor, because our old one just died. We just bought the paint for the boys room and are getting that one this week.

31 weeks tomorrow and feeling OK. My OB signed me out of work so I am trying to take it easy but still have no restrictions other than "listen to your body". DS is in daycare this week so I am trying to get a room clean a day before I really hit a wall. I see OB in a week and a half and MFM the following week. Based on babies position @ that appointment, we will decide if we need to schedule and c/s or not. As of now, B is breech and bigger so I am slowly coming to terms with the fact that it may be my reality...after having a natural birth with DS it's a bit disappointing but as long as I get healthy babies, it will all be fine.

QOTW: I bought coming home outfits first, just simple kimono wrap sets from the Gap. As far as a bigger purchase, I got the Valco Twin Tri Mode with Joey seat after a good NT scan...found a great deal on Craigslist that I couldn't pass up.

Fluid/cervix check tomorrow at MFM. Thank goodness our hospital has free valet parking so I can dart in and out on my lunch hour!

We bought cribs and a changing table on Amazon last week and set up the table last Friday. It made everything feel so real!

We just had our 2nd ultrasound today and both babies are doing great, measuring 9w1d and 9w3d (I'm 9w5d). I graduated from my RE today and will be moving over to my regular OB/GYN now.

QOTW: What is the first item you bought or will buy for your multiples and why?

I haven't bought anything yet since we're still so early but my REs office gave me a graduation gift bag today with two little onesies in it so I guess that counts!

Things are going well.  We got to tell family and friends... pretty much everyone, this weekend and it was such a great feeling to get it out there!  Of course each phone call was 20-30 minutes and DH kept trying to say "we're pregnant" and the insert the twins part soon after but then he realized they were going to freak out over the pregnancy part for a couple minutes before he could speak again.

QOTW - haven't really purchased anything yet but the one big thing I am researching is a stroller.  Unfortunately, two of the four we are looking at are not sold where I live so test driving will have to wait until our vacation in June.  The first purchase will probably be the furniture since we're buying from Ikea and have to put it all together (cribs, dresser/changing table, and a wardrobe) and DH really needs my help to do that.

cervix closed and super hard, no contractions....doctor is kinda in shock. I cant do much, just hang out at home... no more driving for me, by choice. it was predicted early on i would have had them by now, or at least be very close, I know it can change at a moments notice but we are now trying to figure out how long my body can handle things..

First thing we bought at 32 weeks was a pacifier clip, we didn't get on at the shower and i had a coupon.

34 weeks today! Had a rough weekend, thanks to stressing myself out and not drinking enough water, almost took myself to L&D on Saturday, but I got the contractions to chill out.

Doing okay otherwise, still working full time, once a week BPP's. OB says he's fine with me working as long as the boys keep passing their tests with flying colors, which they are. Hopefully they will still look great when we check on them tomorrow.

QOTW- Our first purchase was a double stroller and compatible infant car seats. I LOVED DS1's travel system, but the company doesn't make double strollers, so when I find the energy, his system will go up on Craigslist.... but the new infant seats are washed and the bases installed in my car, so we are ready to roll!

Nothing much new to report. 22w3d today.  I have an u/s scheduled for tomorrow so we'll see how they're doing.  Lately they are kicking like crazy in there though!

I have not bought one thing yet.  I think I'm afraid to buy anything, at least until after V-day.  I would like to start working on the nursery though, so maybe I'll buy cribs soon.

I haven't bought anything yet because it is so early and I am still terrified that something is going to go wrong.  I did buy myself some maternity jeans this weekend though because I am so bloated that I can't wear any of my jeans without being extremely uncomfortable.

Things are going well.  I have a c-section, which I was really hoping to avoid, scheduled for Thursday @ 37w (my ticker is a little off).  My goal was 38, but I am also a tiny bit happy to get these two out!

QOTW:  I think the first things we bought were their cribs off Amazon.  They were having an awesome sale on the style I had picked from Baby Bargains.

Well, I am starting to slow down at this point and the only thing that is getting me through work is that I only have 13 more days until I get a note to stay home. Also, my c-section is scheduled for exactly 38 weeks.

We bought the Maclaren twin techno in the box back in October because it was a great deal I couldn't pass up.

Everything is going really well at this point. The doctors cleared me to go off bed rest and back to normal activities, I'm just taking it really easy now. Somehow, quite miraculously, my cervix actually go longer through my whole PTL scare. 

QOTW: the first thing we bought for the girls was a a set of Harry Potter onesies. We actually ordered them before we knew we were having twins, but it worked out perfectly! One says, "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good." and the other says, "Mischief managed.".

We had a TTTS scare last Thursday and I've been home on "couch potato" bed-rest as the MFM put it for the last 5 days. Today we had a check-up with MFM, things appear to be leveling out--full update on Multiples home page soon. We see the OB on Wednesday for regular appointment, interested to hear what she has to say about everything as well. 

I'm continuing couch-potato rest (sitting and laying activities only--though I can do a few sitting things outside the house such as church or a restaurant now and again) for the remainder of the pregnancy--assuming no further issues.

QOTW: I got their first Christmas (casual) outfits. The Children's Place outlet had last years Christmas stuff on sale for $3...couldn't pass it up.

Feeling great at almost 15 weeks! Just started wearing maternity clothes last Friday (about 8 weeks earlier than with my singleton). So excited for our next u/s the week after next-- we should get a guess as to the sex of the babies

Our first purchase was another infant carseat, just one as we still have DS's-- it's almost the only thing you must have for LOs when they come home (and we already have a PnP, CDs, a pump and newborn clothes from DS).

I'm 31 weeks....cant believe I will have 2 babies in 6 weeks or less!

I'm feeling pretty good. still working full time, but my back has been bothering me more and more, im more tired, and heartburn sucks. 

The first thing we bought was a couple onesies once we were told that both babies were looking good and my miscarriage risk was much lower than we were initially told.

Got to see our girls twice today. First, with the MFM this morning for a quick fluid check. Baby A is still about 5 days behind and fluid is at 3.9. But both have bladders! Full Growth check next week. OB is just happy MFM is watching me so close (weekly). She still does u/s to check hearts since she cant tell them apart yet. No complains here!

 

QOTW: 

I guess my first purchase was diapers! Part of some couponing at Rite Aid. Currently researching a double stroller. A lot of the big stuff we have from DS or will be passed down from a friend with twins.

I had my 30 week check up today and found out that our babies are huge!  They measured at 3lbs 6oz and 3lbs 12oz.  The doctor said to expect them to weigh between 7-7 1/2lbs each when they are born.  He also set our c-section date for May 22nd!  He said if for some reason they turn into a differnet position he will schedule our induction to start on the 21st, but for now to plan on the 22nd with a c-section.  It makes it so much more real, only 7 weeks and 1 day! (Not that I'm counting down or anything!)  But things looked great, so I'm very relieved!

The first thing we bought was our Bumbleride Indie Twin stroller in the Aqua color!  My inlaws have had it at their house and are bringing it down to ours this weekend.  I'm so excited to get it!
