DD not interested in food...

When we started DD on jar food, she seemed to like it.  But in the last 2 weeks when we sit her down to feed her, she just cries until we give her a bottle.  I haven't started on puffs of anything yet, but my DS was not like this.  He liked pretty much everything, and as long as he was fed he was fine.  We don't go back to the dr until later this month, but what else can I try?

Just continue to offer food and if she eats it, great, if not, no big deal.  She doesn't really need solids until she's a year old so as long as she's getting enough BM of formula, she's fine.  She just might not be ready.  And personally, I'd offer finger foods and let her determine her own pace with eating.

I would also offer finger foods and let her take control. You could start with things she has previously eaten from a jar if you want.

What type of jarred food are you giving her? DS wasn't interested in food because all of the foods were trying were fruit (sweet). We switched to veggies and he eats it right up. We've also offer him puffs which he really can't pick up but we do help him with.

We just went through this. We took a break for a few weeks, then started offering him finger food (puffs and mum mums) and then slowly started purees again. He still isn't crazy about me feeding him, but I can get a little food into him.

I agree with PP's...I would 1) not worry if she's not interested, and 2) offer her foods that she can feed herself, if she so chooses.
