Worried :(

Hello Ladies,

I am 5 weeks and 6 days but have been experiencing some light pink spotting with a bit of red the past four days, some days it has been more then others. I am really concerned and wondering if any of you have experienced this before and what it may be caused from. *crossing my fingers everything's alright*

That can sometimes be perfectly normal, especially during implantation.  I have experienced some pink spotting myself from time to time.  It's always best to call your doctor though, especially if you're seeing bright red.  It can be nothing, just your body changing and adjusting.  Sending thoughts and prayers your way!!

I am just lurking on this board, but I had similar spotting while I was pregnant with DS. I remember being in your shoes and sooo worried. DS is now almost 16 months old and happy and healthy! Try not to worry about it! (Easier said than done... I know)

I had bleeding around the time I found out I was pg the first time. I miscarried a few days later. I would call my doctor if I were you.

Thanks everyone. I am still worried sick but I think I will give the doc a call Monday morning if it continues as I hit 6 weeks tomorrow. There hasn't been any increase in the amount of pink spotting or the tiny red spots off and on so I am crossing my fingers!

I'm glad someone else is having this problem. At around 4 weeks I thought I was having my period but it was only light spotting for about a week then after a week I was still spotting.I took a pregnancy test and it was negative so I got really worried because I was feeling really tired and nauseous. I went to the emergency room and gave them all my symptoms and they did a pregnancy test and it was positive.( I even got to do an ultra sound and hear the heart beat.) I was needless to say shocked, but I continued bleeding for about a week and now I'm 7 weeks and every once in a while I notice some pink. The doctor just said no sex, no heavy lifting, and they would see me at 10 weeks! I've looked up bleeding and although everyone says it's "normal"  I still feel stressed, but I'll keep you guys posted!

Just an update everyone. I went into the docs and they sent me for blood work to check my HCG levels to see if they are increasing and want me to get an ultra sound, but unfortunately the only thing I could get done was the blood work because the X-ray place was closed and the hubby is now in NYC for work until the weekend. Had more blood the past two days and this time it was more reddish orange no pink. I've quite worried but crossing my fingers and hoping for the best.
