mucus plug?

ok so i think im losing im not to sure this is my first kid. i see my dr tuesdaym but when i go to the restroom i see this milky mucus stuff when i wipe and the pad i wear kinda looks like it would if i was on a period like a redish brown but i know its not blood cause im bleeding. is it my mucus plug or my amontic fluid?
