MN for Ivy

I think we've decided on Ivy for DD2's name, but I'm struggling to come up with a middle name. My mom is pushing hard for Annabelle, but I'm not sure if Ivy Annabelle flows. Any other suggestions?

My personal preference would be for another short name as a MN. So Ivy Jane sounds nice to me. But I also like Ivy Delphine and Ivy Collette.

As for a middle name, do you have anyone you want to honor? Or does your maiden name sound good with Ivy? I seriously (for a nanosecond) thought of Blue...I'm so ashamed.

I'm honestly not a huge fan of Annabelle either, and I couldn't put my finger on why. But you're right, it does sound kind of cow-like.

No one I want to honor and my maiden name is a color (not Blue, though!), so that would just sound silly.

I've seen a poster on here with an Ivy Mae which I think is cute.

I love the name Ivy so if we used it, future DD would be Ivy Johanna.

I have seriously considered Ivy Louise. I like it. I also think Ivy Rose is pretty (Rose is DH's grandmother's name), but the fact that Rose is such a common MN bothers me.

I immediately thought of Ivy Rose, but that is a bit too flowery.

Ivy was our #1 for a long while (until we did IVF, because that would be weird) with the middle name Karena (like Corrina, my twin sister's name is Karen).

I really don't think Annabelle goes well at all, sorry.
