DS loved the swing. We also used the bouncer a lot. The excersaucer was nice but we probably didn't need that and the jumper-roo. The play mat with mirrors and stuff was kind of a waste of money. I would get one again, but would get a cheaper one $30 vs $75.
Swing, stroller, carseat (infant carrier), crib, changing table, exersaucer/jumperoo (there is one that is both together now), infant carrier (to wear baby on you) baby monitor.
Didnt have or need a bottle warmer, wipes warmer. Had but didnt use or really need a bouncy seat. The bumbo seat is up in the air. Didnt have one for L and dint get it until the girls were 6months. By 8months they could lean forward and crawl out of them. So, if you get it and start using it by 3-4 months it may be worth it.
Oh, and I wish with L I would have bought a nicer diaper bag.
The answer to this ends up being as individual as the babies themselves! But, for us the most used items were:
Arms Reach Co-sleeper
Jumparoo
Bouncy seat (though to do it again I would have gotten a more interesting one...the papasan is pretty but it's not much fun)
playmat
boppy pillow
we borrowed a swing which was good b/c DS never really enjoyed it. We also were loaned an exersaucer that was okay...but he didn't love it as much as the jumparoo.

WIth my first we coulnd't live without the exersaucer, swing, swaddle-me blankets, breast feeding pillow, bebe au lait nursing cover.
My second baby loved the bouncy seat (1st baby hated it), but rarely used the exersaucer and swaddle blankets. She also loves the baby bjorn while my first rarely used it.
Neither of my kids used the jumperoo much.
The Bumbo was good but we borrowed it- I don't think we used it long enough to make it a worthwhile purchase.
Both used the pack n play as a place to sleep other than their room and later on as a crib for grandma's house.
Infant bath tub was good but didn't last very long for either of them.
I love the baby gowns with the elastic at the botttom, some moms hate them but I LOVE them!!! We also had a lot of onesies and used all of them. The jumperoo, swing, bouncy seat, cloth diapers for spit up, a nice diaper bag, baby bjorn, ring sling, travel system, pack n play (although I hardly ever used the bassinet or changing table options it came with). I'm sure there are more but that's all that's coming to mind right now
Didn't use or like: Baby jeans or the "cute" outfits when she was real young. They're not comfy looking on babies at all. She wore cotton pants or sleepers for the few months of her life and all those cute outfits were never worn. We never used a changing table, a baby mobile, the comforter with the bedding set, wipes warmer, bottle warmer, baby snowsuit, the bath seat that suctions to the bottom of the tub. That's all I can think of right now...
** As it was said before, it really does vary with each child. These are the things that have shown true for all of my children. There are some that worked for one and not another, but I'm not including that here.**
Couldn't/Can't Live Without: Cloth diapers (to serve as burp cloths) Exersaucer Lots of onesies Travel system (infant carrier/carseat and stroller fitting into one) Bouncer Sleep Sacks Pack n Play Glider with Ottoman
Total Waste: Wipes Warmer (though we didn't buy it, we got it second hand and never once used it)
My must haves were papasan swing, papasan bouncer, stroller/carseat, Maya wrap, moby wrap, jumperoo, play mat, pack n play, crib, changing table, wipe warmer, bottle warmer (I used it to warm expressed bm), space saver high chair.
Things that were a waste to me:
Snugly carrier, baby bath tub, sleep positioner

i've got an 11 week old and so far these swaddling products have been critical for us and i would highly recommend them:
aiden and anais muslin blankets: https://www.cheekymonkey.ca/Aiden_Anais_Single.htm
kiddopotamus swaddleme: https://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2609015
i would also highly recommend an activity gym mat, something like this:

Loved:
Swing, infant carrier, cloth diapers for burp rags (DD spit up A LOT), pack n play, infant car seat, bumbo chair
Hated:
Papasan "bouncer" (didn't bounce at all), bottle sterilizer, breast pump
