Ok so I am freaking out a bit. I have this pain that comes and goes on
my right pelvic bone. The pain is pretty dull and usually is only there
when I am sitting. Of course the first thing I think of is ectopic.
Here is the thing...my pain is on my right side and I ovulated on my
left (I am not sure if this even matters). I have been going for beta
tests every 48 hours and my numbers are more than doubling (see sig). I
went this morning and I am waiting to hear back. I go for my first us
on Monday. What are your thoughts?
I'm a lurker, but just saw this and wanted to reassure you. I had an ectopic this past fall, and my numbers were not quite doubling. Your betas look great! It would also be strange for you to have ovulated on your left, and for an ectopic to happen on the right. The egg would have had to been picked up by the right side, which is really rare. I think whatever pain you're having is just the baby making itself comfy in there Try not to worry...and congrats!!
I had the same dull, nagging ache in that exact area with my last pregnancy, and when I went for my first U/S there was a rather large cyst on my ovary and that's why I was having that pain. Eventually it went away on its own. If the pain gets any worse, or if you need peace of mind, its never a bad idea to call your Doc.

I'm only a little bit ahead of you, but I had the same thing on my left side a few weeks ago. I was convinced it was going to be ectopic too. My ultrasound this past Monday showed that LO was exactly where he/she should be. I think maybe I was just growing/stretching and feeling it on one side more predominantly. I did get some cramping a few days later on the right but it wasn't as strong. Try not to worry!

Im currently being watched for an ectopic. With beta numbers like that I think you are in the clear. It may just be a corpus lutem cyst your feeling which is nothing to worry about.
Your betas are way over 1500, if you are really concerned, an u/s at this point would give you a clear visual of where the LO is located - which I'm betting is in the ute.

This! I was having pain on both sides and it turned out I was likely having CL pain on one side and had a cyst on the other. My OB said that likely this cyst would have resolved itself had I gotten AF and its just taking a little longer to go away. It has been a week now and the pain is gone. I'd call your doc for reassurance but I would bet you may see a small harmless cyst on one side!
I've been experiencing the same thing but I don't think it's ectopic. I tend to get cysts on my ovaries often so I'm thinking that might be what it is. My first u/s is next Friday. Since your betas look good, that might be what's going on.

I'm having very similar pain. For me it started when I would go pee in the morning after holding it for half the night, so the midwife said it could be a ligament pain. But, now its all the time, especially when I go to the bathroom. I called about it and they told me it could be a bladder infection, so I did a urine test yesterday and will find out today. I had the same thought as you (could it be an ectopic??)....Try not to freak out, wait and see what they have to say. GL!

I had an ectopic in October and the pain was not dull for me at all,it was very sharp and severe pain to the point that i could hardly get up and out of bed. I don't think what you are feeling is ectopic. I wish you all the best. T&P
