UTI , BF and antibiotics :(

So DH and I have s*x for the first time after baby -- and I end up with a UTI! I am EBF, and my Dr's office prescribed me Macrobid. ?I pick up the prescription (and yes, I told my Dr's office that I am EBF) and the bottle says "do not use while BF". ?SO, I call my Dr's office, and the nurse tells me it's completely fine to take. ?I check on KellyMom, and it's a L2. ?

*sigh* - It's the weekend and I was in pain, so I took one pill last night, but after googling Macrobid I get mixed results -- some sites say it's safe while BF ?and others don't....

WWYD? Should I stop taking them and wait until I can talk with my OB on Monday? Or continue taking them? I've also emailed my pediatrician......this sucks..?

Keep taking them. I had to got a bad UTI while I was pregnant and had to get a pic line in my arm...wasn't pleasant.  It can get worse if you don't take them and go to your kidneys....it should be fine.  My aunt is a pedi I'm going to call her to make sure.

She doesn't have her little book thing with her, but I told her it was an L2 and she said it should be fine.  If he dc starts acting alittle weird call his pedi.

Thank you! ?I appreciate your help. ?I took pill #2. ?I guess I feel guilty that DS has to take them too (since the antibiotics show up in breast milk). ?I agree though - it's better to keep taking them and feel well.
