Just picked up a nook at BN and I'm pretty excited for it other than I don't think I can "rent/borrow" books like the Kindle. But ANYWHO... I downloaded Girlfriends guide to pregnancy, so far pretty funny. Though I think I need something more concrete. What was your "Read this or the chimp at the zoo could do a better job bc you'll never be able to figure out what to do" book
Re: Just picked up a nook
the mayo clinic guide to pregnancy is great, if they have that on the nook. i also read the pregnancy instruction manual, and the jenny mccarthy belly laughs book as well. i think the mayo clinic one is great and serves as a reference that i can keep going back to. to me it didn't look as dated as the what to expect series, and i'm a scientist and so i really trust the mayo clinic and the research and healthcare that comes out of there. it had lots of great charts and pictures and is divided into chapters for every month, with questions, what's going on, yoga poses or stretches to do, etc. the pregnancy instruction manual and jenny mccarthy books were also good and a little more on the humorous side. i think they were good to get some of that stuff they don't like to talk about in the other books (pooping during delivery, turning into a crazy person, etc). good luck!!
haha - yeah that book is hilarious. I might have to read it again.
