8 month old lunch
Running out of ideas for our 8 month old twins for lunch
I think we have had enough avocado and bananacado to last us a life time ( not really ) but what are you giving your 8 month old ... My girls love to feed themselves. We are also vegetarians but not opposed to giving them chicken I just need ideas I also like to give them 3 items ... usually one is cherrios-
Any help greatly appreciated.

Watermelon (feeds herself if I cut in a wedge)
String cheese (I peel off a "string" and let her feed herself)
Whole wheat pita dipped in hummus (she mostly sucks the hummus off)
Whole wheat pita dipped in yogurt
Small pieces of shredded chicken
Pieces of shredded cheese
Beans (out of can and rinsed)
Blueberries cut in half
Mango spears
Steamed broccoli florets (these are messy)
Whole big strawberry (she gnaws on it)
I usually give DS a fruit of a veggie diced up.
Some other options: grilled cheese, whole wheat pasta spirals with sauce, mac and cheese, rice with veggies, cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese.
long sticks of cucumbers (DD's favorite), Happy Munchies (organic cheese curls with veggie)
apple (gnaws on it), swiss cheese
Strawberry (gnaws on a big one), yogurt
steamed broccoli, Mum Mums
