Thank you present for partner?

I'd like to do something nice for DH because he's really been such a champ over these last few weeks, taking care of me, looking after DS, running off to the grocery store at a moment's notice, and being supportive, even though he has so much of his own stressful stuff going on.

Any ideas for a nice thank you? Money is a bit tight, but I'd love to do something special to let him know how much I appreciate him.

I don't have any ideas because my brain isn't functioning at all well these days, but I'd love to hear the suggestions, because I'm in the same boat.

Haha, same here!  He called me today to ask about stuff to buy for when we tell our moms.  He said the store had tons of "mommy" stuff but not a lot of daddy stuff.  I definitely think for father's day I will try to find something really cute that says daddy something on it.  That's the best I've got so far though...

Steak and a BJ night was going to be my answer.

(Not that my my DH would be so lucky with my meat aversion and horrid gag reflex, but you know, it may work for other, nicer wives :-) )

The other idea is cook a nice dinner or just tell him either say it or write it all down in a card.

This is going to sound super cheesy, but my H loved it for V-day-- I made a coupon book. The coupons were seriously anything from a bj to dinner to chore excuse to TV remote powers. It cost next to nothing and he is still cashing in random coupons.

omg. you are hilarious.  i was not expecting to read this! so many people on here act so goodygoody and prim and proper.  i thought i was gonna see answers like "bake him his fav cake".  it nice to see someone post how it really is!
