2nd appointment question

At the risk of annoying the snarky b!tch club (who sound highly entertaining, btw...) I had my second appointment yesterday and in my haze of too much information I forgot to ask when I would hear back from them about my blood work. It's easier to ask the internetz how long it took them to find out than to call my doctor (and have co-workers overhear) so if I can prevail upon any of the more experienced MTB's here to give me the benefit of their experience, I'd much appreciate it. TIA

I had blood drawn on Monday and my doctor emailed me this morning with the results.  Depends a lot on where they send your blood for processing... some places have to send it out of state, some do it right there in the office.  I would say it could take anywhere from 2-10 days.

my office said 10 days she also said if she doesnt contact me everything is ok so it really depends on the policy and procedure or protocol of the Doctors office. Im a nurse and the GYN i use to work for it took about 7 days unless he requested stat results. Wish you the best.....
