How to get rid of the BLOAT or at least control it???

I will be 10 weeks pregnant tomorrow and I still having alot of trouble with the bloating issue, it bothers me sometimes, but not all the time, but I would like to know if there is any way that I can get rid of it or at least control it?

This is what I am already during, I am drinking alot of water and I am watching what I eat, I am not eating alot of salt foods and I am eating smaller meals.

Thank you Smile!

  • If you find an answer, I'd like to know!  I'm in the same boat.  My first pregnancy was a breeze with the first trimester, this one, I feel like a sponge!

  • Maybe try eating more fiber. Also, I drink a lot of water, but could still probably drink more. Try adding 1 more glass a day and see if that helps.

  • It's part of the hormones.  Embrace the bloat.  Eventually it'll die down and you'll have a cute baby bump instead.  :)

  • I find that putting lemon juice in my water helps with bloat a little as does staying regular and avoiding salty foods.  But the bloat never fully goes away, and probably never will.

This.   Right now meyer lemons are in season and they rock (think of them as a lemony tangerine!)     And I have invested in Activia for more reasons than one...

  • I don't have any advice for controlling bloat (I dealt with mine by breaking out the 'fat pants') but there is a light at the end of the tunnel!  My bloat went down around 10 weeks or so, and started turning into a little baby bump around 11-12 weeks.  (Everyone is a little different with timing, though!)
