1st Trimester

Stepping over from TTC

First, I would like to say Congrats to everyone here and goodluck to you all!

I posted over in ttc and thought I should post here as well, being that there are a bunch of newly KU ladies.

Okay so a little backround- I have been off bcp since last may-ish. I am on cycle #3 of ttc. I am currently on cd28 and 9dpo. Last month I had a 28 day cycle, but according to my temp chart, this month should be 33 days. And I think we had pretty decent timing :-)

Yesterday I was so nauseated, diizy and a little crampy ( only in one area, best described as the center of my uterine area??). Today, slight nasuea a little dizzy this morning and tons of dull cramping mostly, not like my af cramps. Usually, I start cramping the day before/morning of AF. Since I am not due for AF until friday this is weird for me..

Im not asking If I am prego or When I should test ( I am trying to hold out until friday) But something is telling me that we could have a december baby!

did you notice any "different" cramping before you have found out? Trying to stay positive for myself!

Re: Stepping over from TTC

  • I had zero symptoms before my BFP.  And FWIW, m/s and other typical "1st tri" symptoms don't typically show up until around 6wks.  But, everyone is different.

FX that you get to be a December mama!

  • With my 1st pregnancy I had slight cramping about a week before I tested, I think it was implantation cramping that I was experiencing.  This pregnancy I've been slightly crampy from the whole time, starting right before I tested.  I'm not one to ever have cramps so that how I knew I was pregnant.  Nauseated is also  good sign, this pregnancy my nausea started about 5 days before my AF was due.

Hoping this is my case as well! Hope to see you ladies soon!

  • Honestly, the thing I notice the MOST the month we conceived was my LACK of symptoms. I did have slight cramping and spotting the day after my period was due though....

    Fingers crossed for you!

  • I had cramping the week before AF was due but I thought it was typical cramps.  I was so convinced AF was coming that I didn't even test until 2 days AFTER it was due, thinking it would be silly since I felt obvious cramps.  :)

  • With my first I never noticed any cramping.  But with my second and this one I started having cramping at 5dpo and 7 dpo for this one so I knew something was up and I was right both times.

  • I noticed mild cramping starting around 9 DPO, and it continued regularly for 3 weeks. It's since gona away for the most part.

The only other symptom I had at the time was gas. Serious, constant gas.

The month before I found out, I had mild cramping during the week before I got my period, which was NOT how it usually was for me so I thought *Maybe* I was.. but I got my period. So, the next month, when I was having it a little again, I thought - ohhhh period is coming! But turns out, I was pregnant. I had that mild cramping for a few weeks through-out this pregnancy too! Good luck to you!

  • I had intense cramping prob about a week before I tested, it was very painful.  NOT like my aunt flo cramps, and it only lasted a few minutes.  We joked that it was the baby snuggling in, turns out it was:)  My most noticeable symptom before I tested though was increased CM, had it everyday, and have had it everyday since
