Is it normal not to have morning sickness? I didn't have it my last time around (but ended in a mc) and i do not have it this time, atleast not yet! I have my little spells where i get quite nauseas and dizzy, but no throwing up of any sort. Are any of you ladies the same way?
H & H 9 months to you all
Re: Normal not having morning sickness?
I have m/s, but not having it is perfectly normal too. Count yourself as lucky & enjoy it - I have plenty of friends who had healthy pregnancies and no m/s. M/s sucks, even if it is reassuring at times.
H&H 9!!!
After 2 years of TTC#1, 2 losses, & a lot of prayers, we're hoping this is it!
Phew! Okay! is it wrong that i almost WANT to experience it? But then again i guess it helps not because that would interfere with work and school! I hope it gets better for you!!!
I have not had any MS, dizziness or nausea. At my last appointment I was measuring right on time with a strong heartbeat.
While the presence of MS incidciates a statistically lower risk of miscarriage, the lack of morning sickness is not considered a symptom of miscarriage

I was completely freaked out by my lack of m/s. I had a day or two of nausea here and there but never once felt like I was going to throw up. I know it's a mind bender and it makes you worry if everything's going OK. I was completely shocked when we saw two little beans at my u/s last week!
Hang in there!

Be thankful and don't speak too soon!! I thought I may escape but it hit me like a mac truck this weekend!! Right at 9 weeks...I haven't thrown up...yet...but I feel awful!
I seem to get it in waves. I'll have one week of really brutal m/s and then I'll go a few weeks without it. I would just count your blessings and hope it don't creep up on you like mine has!
Symptoms can be different for everyone, and I've heard they can vary from one pregnancy to the next.
I'm at 13 weeks now, and I had almost no m/s. I would get nauseous if I didn't eat something every 2-3 hours, and I had to eat crackers before getting out of bed for a couple of weeks, but I only threw up once in the whole time.
Insomnia, though? I think I've slept an 8 hour night once in the last 13 weeks.

I had a few days of it back during week 5 and 6 but since middle of last week I've really been completely fine ... the only symptom that is really noticeable is the exhaustion... I used to be a late night work - a- holic now I can't even get through a day without a nap!
With hardly any sickness we saw a healthy beating heart at 7.5 weeks last week and the dr. said to just consider myself lucky
