weird logistical CD question

so i was thinking about the logistics of putting a soiled (wet or BM) diaper/prefold in the wet bag... do you roll it up and plop it in there or just throw it in there wide open? especially with newborn BMs, i would just think the poop would get the inside of the wet bag really messy (even though it's washed every other day). any thoughts? or am i totally over-thinking this?

I just throw everything in there as is, but I have been wondering what others do too.

If it's wet, its usually just folded in half.  If it had to be rinsed, it's usually rolled to squueze the water out so the bag isn't 60 pounds after 2 diapers. 

I just drop it in half, but the bag goes in the wash too so it doesn't matter.

I tend to roll up the poopy ones so all the poop is contained.  Make me feel like the smell is contained a bit better and the likelihood of me sticking my fingers in poop is a lot lower, lol.

I do kind of fold up the diaper.  With EBF poop it all kind of seeps into the diaper so it doesn't really get all over the place.  Actually the solids poop is way messier.  And if you are putting the diaper into a wet bag after dunking/swishing or spraying, it is really wet so that does get everywhere.  But like everyone else says, it all just goes into the wash!

I keep a plastic grocery bag in the diaper bag to put poopy diapers in until we get home.  DD only poops once a day/once every other day, so it's usually a doozy.  This way poop doesn't get on the other diapers in the wetbag so I don't have to rinse them, too (DD is FF, so we spray all her poop).

They all go in as is.  Poop is going to get on the other diapers anyway during the prerinse, and the laundry bag gets washed with the diapers every time.

I never sprayed my daughters formula poo, it washes out just like BM poo

For pee dipes and not-so-heavy poop dipes, I just toss the prefold in the wetbag, using the cover to handle the prefold so I don't have to touch anything (we're still EBF, so I don't have to dunk yet). 

For the poopsplosions where it's just poop all over the show, those usually get onto the cover as well, so I just roll the entire diaper (prefold & cover - I usually trifold, so it works well like this) up like you would a sposie and secure with the crossover velcro tabs to avoid poop smearing all over the place. It's not so much that I mind my wetbag getting dirty, more so that I don't want to reach into a pile of poop smeared all over the place later!
