Good evening! My name is CJ and I just recently joined the bump. My husband and I have been trying to concieve for a year and a half now. I have had multiple testing done and even recently completed the salivia hormone testing. My OB is really into all the natural hormones and such and wants me to take "Balance" to become pregrant. I am thinking of getting a second opinion elsewhere. I have done oen cycle of clomid 50mg with no results. I have dreamed of the day I would be able to be a parent and all this testing and no results is really starting to wear me down emotionally. Anyone have any suggestions??? thanks for listening to my story!!!

*Me 28 Husband 31

*TTC since 10/2009

*10/2010Tried 1 cycle of clomid 50mg with no results

*12/2010 On break due to needing a new OB and money reasons

5/5/12 Underwent exploratory surgery and had tubes blown out- no issues found

5/5/12 DH had SA and numbers look great

7/2102 50mg dose of clomid with ovulation and timed sex no results

8/12 Clomid cylce #3- no success

8/30 Went to see RE and we have decided to move onto IUI attempts

10/18 IUI#1 BFN and cyst developed so on hold

11/17 IUI cycle #2 BFN
IUI #3,4,5,6 =BFN

First round of IVF- 2 fresh transfered Beta=20, 37 than ended in M/C- Will do frozen transfer in Sept!

    Welcome, hopefully you aren't here for long.  I am new to this board as well and the only advice I have is to ask lots of questions.  At first I felt like I was bothering the nurses and doctors but it's important that you are informed.  There is a lot of information thrown your way at times and it can get confusing!  Good Luck!

    Welcome CJ! 

    I am a newbie as well and everyone here has been amazing!

    IF is a really emotionally draining process, but hopefully your stay here is short and you will find success soon! I am all about getting a second opinion, especially since it has already crossed your mind. Have you met with an RE or has all the testing been with your OB/GYN?

    Left Tubal Ligation in 2004
    1.2.12 BFP
    1.16.12 LAP due to Ectopic @ 7w, Right Tubal Ligation
    3.19.12 IVF #1 - Stims (Lupron + Gonal F + Luveris)
    3.29 ER - 6 snowbabies (ET postponed due to OHSS)
    FET 6/6 - transferred two 4AB snowbabies
    Beta #1 6/16 = 683, Beta #2 6/18 = 1703, Beta #3 6/20 = 4073, u/s #1 @ 5wks = TWINS!!, 7w u/s two heartbeats <3<3 TWIN BOYS<br>

    Thank you so much for responding. I know there are many women who go through this and I keep telling myself to keep my head and push through :( I have only been to my OB so far for all this testing. I dont know if there are any RE in my area..I will have to research this!!!

    While not new to IF or the bump, I'm new to this board as well. I second trying to find an RE and getting some tests ran. Good luck to you!

    Welcome! I agree with looking into a second opinion. Not sure what the salivia test or "balance" is. Also- you didn't say if your hubby has been tested. I'd look into a RE if you have one near you!! Good luck!!

    Welcome to the board! I also say try to find a RE for additional testing. Has your husband had a SA done? I hope you can find some answers. Good luck!

    Welcome!

    I hope you don't take this the wrong way, and by no means are you being kicked off the board, but you may want to look into the Trouble Trying To Conceive board, as there are more people there doing treatments similar to yours and more people here doing IUI and IVF with their REs. I have no experience with saliva hormone tests, Balance, or even Clomid so no advice on that. I have a lot of experience with TTC for years and multiple failed cycles so my advice to that is that it just gets worse, so dig deep, set your priorities, and figure our your coping mechanisms (acu, meditation, exercise, therapy, etc.). Good luck!

    And a lot of people post on multiple boards depending on the subject matter or just for a different perspective, and lots of people on TTTC call that board their home even though they are undergoing advanced treatments because of the close connections they have. It can get confusing, but don't be shy and you'll find yourself gravitating towards one board or another. Good luck!
