Hot Flashes & Night Sweats - good times!!

Prior to getting pregnant with DS, I never had hot flashes or night sweats.  My OBGYN told me they would go away probably within a few months of delivering DS.  He's 20 months and I still have them.  Not as bad, but still, to the point where I wake up, dripping with sweat.  It's so freaking disgusting.

I sleep in a tank top and undies.  The air is set around 70 at night (it would probably be less if DH and DS weren't already freezing!).

Now, I am pregnant with LO #2 and it's starting to get worse again.  Anyone had any dealings with this? Any tips to help keeping me from waking up looking and feeling like I just got out of the pool?

  • this happens to me several times throughout the nigh! its so frustrating..i haven't really found anything that makes it go away..but i sleep without pants on and keep a fan on low. thats the only thing that seems to get me through the night.

  • my mother has been taking zyrectic the allergy pill to help with her hot flashes. not really sure how it works but it has.. you could try it plus it would help with any allergies you may have this spring. its prego safe as well.
