Finally told my boss

Everyone in our immediate family and close friends have already been told we have a baby one the way. The one person I was hesitant to tell was my new boss because I have only been here a few weeks. She started noticing that I was tired a lot more at work so I decided to break the news to her today and she has been great and is very happy for DH and I. The only thing she asked is that I try not to gloat about it to much when I am coming in to relieve the girl that works the day shifts sometimes because she is TTC and is having a hard time. She even said she would tell the rest of my coworkers (only 7people) so that I am not scared of have to stress about it. Needless to say this is a huge stress off my back and now I don?t feel like I?m hiding anything. Whew!

Nice to hear she is supportive.

I also recently started a new job (3 months ago) and am so nervous about telling work. I am going to wait it out as long as possible or until I start showing. I am not looking forward to that at all.

That awesome!  I can't wait to tell everyone at work, we're all pretty close.  My boss will, I'm sure, act very happy but always gives me a bad time that I'm leaving him short when I go on maternity...he's kinda joking, it's pretty good natured, so I don't let it bother me.
