My LO is 7m2w and no crawling in sight. She doesn't make an effort whatsoever. WHO doesn't have crawling as a milestone so I'm not concerned in the least b/c LO was ahead on sitting and standing (before rolling), so I suspect crawling will be near simultaneous with walking for her. How's your LO on milestones that are tracked?

Mine is almost 9 months and not crawling.... Some babies skip crawling all together. I think my LO is going to do that. He has no interest in crawling, but is always pulling up, and wanting to stand
I wouldn't be concerned. Between 7 mo & 8 mo. DD started army crawling and now crawls everywhere. Enjoy the time that you can put her some place and she will stay there!
All babies will hit milestones at different times but I think all we can do to encourage healthy development is provide a variety of opportunities for play and exposure to language and experiences. She will be a mover soon!
I wouldn't worry about it at all. DS isn't crawling either. He is up on all fours and rocking, and took one step (with one leg) on Saturday but just doesn't have the coordination yet.
He's been ahead on all his milestones: rolled belly to back at 9 weeks, back to belly at 12 weeks, sat unassisted for long periods at 4.5 months (started sitting at 4 months.) He started to pull himself up about a week before he turned 6 months, etc. I really wouldn't worry about your LO if she is hitting other milestones.
In the last week he has learned to go from flat on his belly to sitting, which has made his morning crib nap very interesting It's hysterical looking at the monitor and seeing him just sitting there
In the gym classes I take him to, they told me you can put resistance against your LO's feet while they are on all fours to give them the resistance they need to move forward. I haven't really been doing it because I'm not ready for him to crawl yet . . . and neither is our apartment!
My DD is 8 months and she army crawls but doesn't crawl on hands and knees. However she does get up on her hands and knees and even her hands and feet. I'm not worried.
I dought your have anything to worry about my oldest never crawled. My second crawled @ 6.5 months. And my baby boy went mobile @ 6 months to they day. Now he's building up his speed. Your LO will do it in her own time or not at all. Most times they have their own plan.

Huh?
The average crawling age is 9 months. Many babies never crawl.
Ds never crawled and is a perfectly normal three year old. DD is nearly 8 months old and not crawling.
rolling at 4 months, sitting briefly unsupported at 5 1/2/ 6 months
