stories on success with frozen embies?

Hi everyone! I just found out today that my first cycle of IVF was a bust, but i have 4 really solid frozen guys, one is a 5aa, and one a 5ab. I want to hear success stories so i can look forward to the next month and get good positive vibes going my way. Its all i can do to stop from being really sad.

I got pregnant with two of three of my FETs - the first was a c/p and I'm currently pregnant from an FET.  Statistically frozen embryos are just as viable as fresh - but I understand your concern.  Every time I went for a FET, i went in thinking it wouldn't work. But there a lot of ladies who have had success with FETs.  Check out SAIF for more success stories.

I don't have experience with a FET myself, but my best friend's sister does.  Her first IVF cycle was also a bust but she got pregnant with twins on her first FET.  She is currently deployed, but plans on doing another FET when she returns next year.  I don't think the success rates for FET are much lower for a fresh cycle since they only freeze high quality embryos.  Good luck!

My RE would only do an FET because I was part of some sort of research project. I got pg. off my first IVF/FET cycle. I can't tell you anything about their quality because I don't get those things from my RE!

This current pregnancy is from an FET. We transferred 1 blast & got pregnant on the first try. I never made it to a fresh transfer with my IVF cycle (I am a horrible fresh transfer candidate). I liked that I didn't have all the drugs in my system for the FET. It was so much easier than the IVF cycle. And the success rates for frozen vs. fresh I was told at my clinic are similar. I would be very hopeful for an FET cycle if I were you!

This pregnancy is from a single frostie.  I only had one!   I opted to transfer ur before moving on to my forth fresh Ivf.  It stuck around. 

I also did a natural fet, so I didn't even take any medication.  It can work!  Good luck!!

Our first ivf didn't work either. We had two frozen guys, both 6 days one hatching blast and one blast. Both took, and we're now expecting twin boys. Sorry for your bfn, and good luck.

This pregnancy is from FET.  I got pregnant with my Fresh Cycle but unfortunately I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks.

I am pregnant from an FET as well, your frozen embies sound like good quality so good luck with your upcoming cycle. I know it's hard to feel hopeful after the first IVF fails, but somehow with each cycle you manage to feel optimistic again.

I'm a SAIFer whose little guy is a FET miracle.  He's a healthy, happy, developmentally advanced 5 month old.   I'm a big fan of FETS .

I was so concerned going in, since the embies I transferred on my successful FET weren't highest quality and I had a BFN from "near perfect" embies from the fresh cycle.  My nurse even joked that we were dealing iwth the JV squad of embies...but I think my little guy is absolutely perfect!

Thanks everyone. Its great to hear such positive stories and congrats to everyone! My blasts are better looking than the ones that didnt work, so fingers crossed. Hopefully we can start again right away this month....if my levels go down to 0 during my period.
