So I have been looking for a few months now and like some crib designs and then DH will like a different style. Getting frustrated with all the decisions. Any advice on what kind of crib to get? Convertible or stationary?

Re: Ugh, I can't decide on nursery furniture
I ended up going with the $120 Ikea crib that converts to a toddler bed. DH and I discussed that we didn't want a full size bed for a child because we either wanted a trundle or bunk bed for sleep overs and additional space for play.
So I wasn't going to shell out $500+ for a convertible crib that was going to be used for only a few years. And the Ikea cribs are rated very highly in Baby Bargains. And I am not even an Ikea fan.
I got mine off CL and it can become a convertible if I get the kit. If I didn't find it I would have gotten a convertible from Ikea. I even have a Pong Chair in DDs room and I may get another one for LO.
LO will be getting DDs crib and DD will get the bed my FIL made for DH.
I got a stationary that converts with a special kit. Our plan, though, is to move her into an adult size bed with the guard rails when she is big enough...
A big factor for me was finding a crib that didn't have any particle board or MDF as those have formaldehyde in them...and staying in a reasonable price range. It was aggravating because I found one at Ikea, then a week later I went to order it and it was out of stock...then I picked another, and it wasn't available in the color I wanted. When I finally found one in stock and in the right color, I snatched it up!
Also, I do have a tendency to change my mind about stuff and want different looks, so I didn't want to invest in a very expensive system that I would tire of.
