1st Prenatal Checkup

So I went to the dr for the first time since my BFP yesterday. After a very aggravating 2 hour wait in the waiting room, I finally got to go back. They did a urine pregnancy test and told me it came back VERY positive. lol. Then they asked about my last period, so I kinda fibbed and told them that I was unsure so that they would have to do an ultrasound. And I am so glad I did. According to the ultrasound I am 5 weeks 6 days and we got to see our little bean. And we saw a heartbeat! 93 bpm! And you could hear it. Steady and strong. So incredibly happy right now.

How exciting! I have my first appointment on April 9th and I am SO looking forward to seeing/hearing the HB!!! Congrats to you!

awesome! congrats on the u/s. My first checkup isn't for 2 more weeks!

Thanks ladies. My next appt is April 16th, so I'll be 10 weeks then. That hb made me feel soooo much better though. And my husband cant stop smiling and rubbing my belly. lol.
