scan confusion!

Hi all hope you are all feeling ok today  I am slightly confused by the amount of different info i've been reading on dating scans...According to my scan my baby is measuring 11 wk 6 days, meaning i concieved at the end of Dec which sounds about right with the Christmas and New Year celebrations in full swing  i have since read on a forum on diff web site that at the scan they add on 2 weeks to the babys actual age meaning i would be 9wk and 6days which would be v worrying as i did not have sex all through January as my hubbie was away working!

Has anybody else heared this or no it not too be true? I am v confused xx

It's 2 wks from conception, which just dates it back to your last menstrual cycle. It is just how they date and has no real bearing on the "age" of your LO.

What your thinking about is at the date of conception you are actually 2 weeks along. So by the time you get a bfp you are about 4 weeks.
