The rude people on this site are seriously making me want to just stop coming here. It seriously turns my day to crap when I post something and someone makes me feel stupid or bad for posting it. You are the only people who know what is going on with me and then someone has to go and ruin it! Ugh!

I've had those days too... Try not to take it to heart. Some people are just rude, some are just being honest, but most people mean well. Sorry you had a bad experience. I hope your night gets better!

I was just noticing some rude responses towards another poster on a different board. Don't let it get you down! Those are the ones that stand out, but there are more people that genuinely care and will be nice on here! You are right, you should be able to post without being judged, but people are rude everywhere:( don't stop posting - just focus on the nice people!

aww!! don't let it bring you down or not want to come back on here. There are some nice people that will talk I'm really new to this and people make me feel the same way, like real dumb and are soo rude! You know i am pretty young still, and I mean accidents happen and people talk to me like it the worst possible thing ever, and I don't think I need that or deserve that kind of respect you know? But don't let it bring you down!!:)

I agree to this ^. Have you tried the October board yet? Everyone is closer in weeks and everyone seems to be more understanding/nicer. Hope you feel better.

It can be pretty unfortunate.  You'd think people who visit a forum like this are seeking to be supportive of others and share experiences so they can learn from one another.  Sometimes that isn't always the case, and I agree with what someone else said about rude things tending to stick out a bit more, but for the most part I find people on here to be genuinely interested in being helpful.

It can be attributed to anonymity, hormones or even being misinterpreted due to lack of inflection.  Something else I've noticed on a lot of forums is that new posters tend to go through a "hazing" period, where older members are a bit rude until the poster becomes established.  I noticed an example of it in a thread only yesterday.  Someone with a low post count started a thread, received some snarky comments and an established poster pointed out that she had posted here before; the "new" poster clarified that she no longer had access to her old account and everyone started being nice to her.  ::shrugs::

It's the internet, it's not a big deal.  Certainly not a big enough deal for you to feel bad about it.  Try to take the responses that are useful to you and let the rest be.
