Multiples

back from 28-week appointment

Things are looking good, yay. :)

Both babies are still vertex--A's head was so low they had a hard time measuring it! (Hopefully he's not in a hurry to get out! ;))

Estimated weights are 2lbs12oz (A) and 2lbs10oz (B).

I got a manual cervix check for the first time (closed) plus the ultrasound measure--3.9 cm, so still looking good.

Oh, and I'm measuring 36 weeks!!
(I measured 27.5 at 22 weeks so I have expanded quickly.)

Only bad thing--besides the phlebotomist accidentally torturing me a bit before getting my blood sample--is that my iron's a bit low so the OB prescribed iron supplements, but I guess that's very common with twins?

  • Yes, I think low iron is very common.  I've been on extra iron supplements for quite a long time.  Great news about all the rest!!
  • Yay! I'm so jealous! After being head down for the whole pregnancy my girl (baby A) decided to flip to breech apparently. I hope she flips back!

Yes, being anemic is REALLY common with multiple pregnancies. I'm on iron too.

  • What a great milestone!  30 weeks next....glad everything is going smoothly.

    Take care of yourself!
