With my DD, I felt her move at 15-16w and found out the sex at my 'big' ultrasound that I had at 22w (most are 18-22w).
WIth DS I felt him move at 12w and found out the sex at my NT scan (at 13w) and confirmed at the big u/s. The NT scan isn't as common but if they go off the angle of the dangle they can take a guess that early.
It's different for everyone, but I didn't feel baby until week 17 very lightly.
I found out the sex at 22 weeks, but I scheduled a late u/s so my H could go. If you get the NT scan done, sometimes they make a guess which is early. But keep in mind it is just a guess. People have gotten the guess of girl and found out weeks later at the a/s that they are having a boy or vice versa. I think most Drs do the anatomy scan between week 18 and 20, but you could check with your Dr. If you don't know......anatomy scan is a more lengthy scan to look at baby and check baby out and they typically can determine the sex at this point as well unless baby is hiding it.

I felt DD move once around 16 weeks, then I didn't feel her move again for a while. It turned out that she was and the back side of the placenta with more fluids between her and the surface of my belly. I felt her move about 2 weeks later, and then it was nonstop.
We did an elective gender u/s at 17 weeks to find out what she was. If we hadn't paid OOP and gone to a non medical u/s place we would have found out at our anatomy scan at 21 weeks.
awe! see i get a ultrasound every week because im a type 1 diabetic so its high risk and they check the baby every week so hopefully i will see it alittle early lol

I think it depends on how perceptive you are. I am very small and my doctor thought I would feel him early.. but nope, did not feel him until 22 weeks and even then, would always second guess on if it was really him. I would say, not until 24 weeks was I 100% positive it was the baby as I was seeing him kick!
I also have a high pain tolerance and generally am not really observant about things on my body (did not know when I had a contraction for instance until I was on pit for 12 hours and then I did feel those:) ). People are just different.
I always heard you feel the first little butterflies between 14 and 16 weeks. we are almost 14 weeks, and i felt my first little flutter about a week 1/2 ago! sooooo exciting! it was super fast. and i know my body really well.... and i'm pretty positive it wasn't gas... and it happened 3 times. the third today! sooooo exciting! and when i explained to my momma what it felt like she said yup! that's it. it almost felt like a little worm for like 2 seconds lol and or yeah little butterflies. so neat!
I kept getting littles tickles just a little lower than my belly button around 17 weeks. I felt him actually move at 19 weeks. We had our anatomy scan at 19 weeks. 20 weeks is standard at the practice I go to, but we were going on vacation that week so they fit us in early.
I felt first flutters 12.5 weeks with DD (obviously super early!) But I felt real kicks around 16-18 weeks.
I have already had flutters since last week with this pregnancy. It's the best feeling. Sometimes I'll sit up and kinda squish my belly just to feel it.

I felt DS pretty early, at around 13/14 weeks. We found out the sex at 19 weeks and the anatomy scan, didn't have a NT.
A woman's life is nine parts mess to one part magic, you'll learn that soon enough...and the parts that look like magic turn out to be the messiest of all.
I'm a type 1 diabetic pregnant with twins... I started feeling them pretty early - around 14 weeks, but I guess it gets crowed more quickly with two in there . We've had four ultrasounds so far - at 8,10,14, and 16 weeks. At 16 weeks we had our first level 2 ultrasound and found out we are having two little boys... from here on out we will get a level 2 ultrasound every couple of weeks to check the babies and then once a week in my third trimester. Good luck with everything!!!! It gets really frustrating at times to try to manage the diabetes once the insulin resistance kicks in - I have a pump and I'm already up to double the insulin I was using pre-pregnancy and I'm just 18 weeks.
I felt my baby move at 15 weeks, but wasn't for sure it was the baby until this week (17 weeks). It was a tap here and there the first time and the second time it was like bubbles. I felt the baby's taps once during the sixteenth week, and they were stronger today. I am a first time mom, so I don't know how normal it is to feel the baby this early, but I'm excited about it!
I'm 19 weeks and we are having our find out the sex appointment next Tuesday (we aren't finding out though) and in the past week or so, 18 weeks I guess you could say, I've felt little flutters I don't think you feel full on kicking or movement where you aren't second guessing yourself if it's gas or something else until about 21 weeks my doctor said - so don't feel nervous if you don't feel anything earlier on, my doctor said it's common that most first time mom's don't feel anything until 20-22 weeks.
I'm not sure what feeling I'm waiting for - I do feel like I can feel "digestion" often but maybe it's really him/her. Appt for gender u/s is next Thursday!! Yeah!!
