I think I'm extra grouchy today...

Normally, I wouldn't be offended by a new mom lecturing me on how my baby needs to bake for 40 wks, but rather I would be amused.  I guess this goes hand in hand w/ the too little sleep and too much sugar from the kids trick-or-treating last night.  I need a nap!

    I always find that kind of lecture annoying. It always makes me wonder if the person saying it is just bitter because they went overdue.

    If you're having painful contractions, thinking "oh, but I just need this to keep up another month" doesn't make the pain suck less. I turn 28 weeks over the weekend and I've been having whole days that are painful for weeks. Knowing that I won't go full term doesn't make me not want baby to be healthy.

    Snowchylde-  EXACTLY!  I'm wishing you a pain-free pregnancy and healthy baby!  Contrax that early are scary...but I had ptl w/ ds and managed to make it to 37 1/2 wks.  Good luck!
