My embarrassment on display...

For your entertainment.  I babysat my niece today for SIL because she had some appts.  We (myself, niece, and DD) met my MIL for lunch and then did some shopping.  DD is usually a pro shopper.  She loves people watching and is pretty entertained sitting in her stroller and checking stuff out.  Today, not the case.  In any event, she had a full on melt down in Barnes & Noble while we were in line.  I was getting ready to pay for our things and asked niece to keep her entertained.  So we've already gotten everyone's attention after Katie's bloodcurdling screams and my niece is showing her books & other items, and babbling away at her saying look at the bunny, look at the kitty, look at the duckie and then she gets to the octopus toy hanging from the stroller.  Only she didn't say octopus.  She said octopussy.  DD found it hilarious so niece keeps repeating octopussy about 5 or 6 times before I can whisper for her to stop.  There was like 10 people in line and I'm pretty sure they all heard.  I wanted to melt into the floor.

I am so sorry However, you will totally laugh at Octopussy as time passes by. I'm sure the other people in line were secretly laughing. My husbands name is Chuck and there were a few times my sweet nephew said "*uck" in public places. He totally meant Uncle Chuck... but, you know.

My neighbors little boy had a lisp growing up and could not pronounce the letter 'R'.  He loved Thomas the train and his favorite character was Percy.  He used to walk around telling everyone "I love Percy".  You can imagin the looks they used to get lol.

Today my 3 year old and I were in a pretty packed restroom.  I pulled her into the stall with me and we each took turns going potty.  As I'm pulling up my pants it's now dead quiet and she asks me "Why is your pee pee so scary looking?"  I definitely heard snickering from the other stalls on that one.

I just woke up my sleeping husband by laughing hysterically. This is too much..... Totally something my DD would say!!

At my last OB appointment in a PACKED waiting room after reminding my two year old (quietly) to keep his hands out of his pants (boys start this young), he loudly announced "But mama my peepee is BIG!" it was silent until a few people started laughing out loud! I wanted to crawl in a hole!

One time when I was little my mom swore in the car at another driver and said 'dumb b@#$%' I thought she said 'down beach' and then kept asking to go to the beach.

Haha.  I'm very honest with DD about body parts and questions she asks.  Some of this comes back to get me in the most embarrassing ways when we're out in public.  Lol
