Hey ladies so I am doing some research on vaccinations and I was just curious to hear what you guys were thinking. Anyone really passionate on the subject from either side that could lead me to some good articles or anything I may need to know before I deliver? Thank you I appreciate any input
Re: Vaccinations
Are you wanting info on vaccinations for your or the baby? What kind of info are you looking for?

Also, I would talk to your pediatrician first and foremost. Ours is really great at sitting down with us and discussing all of the options.
We space them out (no more than two at a time), still hitting the recommended target windows for on-time vaccination. We declined (rotovirus) or delayed a couple (hep
.
DD had some early, unrelated, seizures so we wanted to watch it closer. The benefits...I know what reactions we had to each and have a record of which shot/maker we used, in case any problems turn up in the future with a vaccine.
Either follow the recommended schedule, or really do your research (imo...don't just buy into the Sears Vaccine book and think your job is done).
Same here.

Delayed Hep B (still didn't give to 2 year old yet, DH and I didn't get vaccine until middle school)
Skipped Flu Shots (may reconsider this fall with a newborn and daughter in nursery school two days a week)
Rotavirus (only gave daughter 2 of the 3 doses, as there was a contamination with a pig virus around the time she was due for the third dose, and we opted out. I may skip entirely for this baby)
Skipped Hep A (DH and I aren't even immunized against this. If we traveled internationally we would consider)
Thanks ladies, I appreciate all of your comments. I have always believed (and still do) in vaccines and believe they are necessary. My sil and bil are maximed living chiropractors and have been urging me to look into not vaccinating and I promised I would do so before making me final decision. I intend on speaking to my pediatrician also and I like the idea of spacing out the shots so thank you for those suggestions. Just wanted to hear all of your thoughts and personal experiences. Thanks again for your input.
I will be vaccinating on the regular schedule unless our child has any issues at birth that would cause a reaction/delay, etc.
I strongly believe in vaccinating - the benefits greatly outweigh the risks.
