How many vials of blood did they take...

...for the NT scan? I had SIX vials taken. I thought it would only be like 2 or 3. I guess I should know what it was all for, but I have no idea.

I just had one taken at mine yesterday.  At my second appointment at 6w5d I had five vials drawn for the routine screenings, so maybe you had both done at the same time?

they took about 3 big ones and 3 little ones

With my first appt. they took 4 huge vials- hopefully I won't need another blood test til 2nd trimester.

I'm guessing they were for other tests as well.  I was told I'd have a blood draw at my next appointment (12w) for routine tests as well as the first trimester blood screen.

They took 10 from me, but it was also the first time they have taken blood so it was probably more because of that.

I feel like they took almost 10!! There were so many different tests on the list and when I saw all the vials I almost fainted. Plus I was having m/s on the drive home and feeling even more faint.

I had 12 taken.  I counted them three times because I couldn't believe they needed all that.  This was 2 weeks ago for all the routine screenings, then last week I had 4 taken for MaterniT21 and a Tay Sach's screen, now NT scan tomorrow.  I'm bruised beyond belief so I'm hoping it's just the finger prick tomorrow otherwise they'll probably have to find a vein in my foot because my arms are shot!
