Hiring a housekeeper!

Ok, I just saw this board for the first time and it seems like the perfect place to share the totally exciting news that we're hiring a housekeeper. DH and I both work M-F days. In the evenings we have about 2 hours (or less) with DD and then once she's down we get ready for the next day and do laundry/dishes, etc. but don't have time or energy to do the bigger jobs. And our weekends are busy with family and individual activities. Our house is disgusting since I went back to work a month ago. So we're hiring a housekeeper! We're going to have to sacrifice a little to pay for it, but I'd rather have my evenings and weekends to spend quality time with DH and DD. Plus, DD's at that age where she requires constant supervision/entertainment.

It's the best thing we ever did. It allows us to spend so much more time together, and most of the bickering about DH's laziness around the house is removed.
