7 wks and back pain

I'm 7 weeks pregnant and started having pretty bad back pain on my right lower back last night and it has continued today. My first appointment is tomorrow but I'm getting nervous! Anyone know if this is normal?

im 12weeks & im having lower back pains too. I notice it when I have been laying down & i get up and it starts to hurt. Never had back pains before prepregnancy.

This is me too. I didn't have it with my first pregnancy but now my lower back is killing me. I read that hormones are causing our ligaments to expand to make room for a growing baby!

Consider going to a Chiropractor or massage therapist.  I had Chiropractic care my entire pregnancy last time and am doing the same this time.  It made a huge difference with aches & pains not to mention delivery was a breeze.

Totally agree with my first daughter i had horriable pain and it started early like yours and my mother used to crack jokes beacuse im smaller she said i didnt have a "child barring body" i went to the chiropractor weely and if it was bad sometimes twice a week!! you should check it out it worked wonders!!

Totally normal. Your hormones are changing and back pain is one of the symptoms. I had it with my 1st and I'm already noticing it this time.
