My Fiona has been getting up on all fours from her tummy for about 3 weeks and started rocking about a week ago. I keep thinking she's just going to take off! I can't wait for my babies to start crawling!
It took our LO about 2-3 weeks to go from rocking on knees to crawling....but, she didn't crawl on her hands and knees. As soon as she starts moving forward she flops down on her belly and army crawls.
I think it all just really depends on the baby because my baby B went from hating tummy time to crawling all at once about a week and a half ago. Now she is pulling up to standing on everything which is making me so nervous!
Baby A is rocking on her hands and knees but then gives up but does a sort of army crawl but only for puffs! : ) If we put puffs out for her she will stretch and wiggle to get to them. She has been doing this for about a week.

That's what DD does too! She's been army crawling for about 1.5months and can get up on her knees no problem but she'd rather drag herself lol. Now she's pulling up on stuff and took a couple steps along the couch yesterday so I think she'll skip real crawling and just walk!
Ok, so how long from army crawling to crawling? Because DD started getting on her hands and knees and army crawling the same day. That was about 3 weeks ago.
