Leftover pea puree?

Hi,

I made a pea puree that was WAY too chunky for LO... I can't seem to get it smooth!  Any ideas for what to do with it so DH and I can eat it?  I hate for organic yummy peas to go to waste... I made a whole batch.

Dear God, Since I couldn't hold my little one in my lap and tell him about you, could you hold him in your lap and tell him about me?

Re: Leftover pea puree?

  • Add to a pasta sauce? Mix into mashed potatoes? Or maybe freeze them and save for lo in a few weeks. It only took my lo about a month to go from pureed peas to eating actual peas.

  • I'd just freeze and try again.

It was only a matter of about 2 weeks when I first started that we went from really smooth purees to the chunky ones.

About 2 more weeks after we just went straight to whole peas.

  • Pea Soup? I'm not a fan of peas myself but I'm sure you could mix them in with a soup of some sort.
