I swear, my patience is running on zero these days which is very bad when you have two toddlers. DH has not been home before bedtime in 2 days (and he leaves before they wake up).  I swear, my children purposely choose to ignore everything and anything I say nowadays and I just want to pull my hair out. I just need a quiet dark room with no one around to bother me right now. I am literally counting the minutes until they go to bed. 

 

This sounds so completely and utterly terrible, but mommy just really needs a time out.

I hear you, mama. I have a 19 month old and DH worked all day today, got home for 1.5 hrs and then left again right after dinner. The house was a mess and I had to clean up from dinner AND do DS's bedtime routine. Plus I am totally exhausted. All I can say is hang in there and take the precious time that you do have to sit down and have YOU time -- the laundry, vacuuming, dishes, etc. can wait!! It's a sanity check!

DD is teething really bad right now, so we have been up 2 or 3 times a night. So I sort of understand.  I would kill to take a nap.

I have worked at a daycare so I can only imagine how you feel with toddlers 24/7. You need some me time!
