My dog just took me out...

Ahhhh! I have been so careful this pregnancy and haven't tripped or fallen at all...until today.  I let the dog out and underestimated her energy level.  She basically didn't stop in time and took my left leg out. I landed on my rear and right hand.  Nothing major and not a hard fall since it was on the grass but now I am totally paranoid. Baby is moving well but now I am ?ber vigilant about it. Panic attack lol.  The dog has officially lost no leash privileges!

    I just fell too and I can't even blame on the dog!

    Ouch! So Sorry!

    My dog tripped me too when I was about 30 weeks. I fell on my side on cement. I was sooooo paranoid, I called the dr and everything. As long as baby is moving and you are having no cramping or spotting you should be just fine :) The baby is well protected in  there :)

    We don't have a fence and we have two dogs that I have to walk during the day.  One of the dogs is about 55 lbs and not very well leashed trained.  I started having so much trouble trying to handle him on my own these last few weeks that he has now gone to stay at my parents' farm with their dog until after little one arrives.

    My OB office has a very strict rule that even if you think it is very minor. if you have any kind of fall or hit your belly you are to come in right away for 4 hour monitoring. if everything doesnt look 100% perfect they keep you an additional 24 hours. i have been so worried about it since i am a super accident prone person. but so far i havent had any accents.

    Thanks for the info ladies.  I'm not having any issues with cramping or bleeding and baby seems to be moving normally.  But I did call just to see what the doctor said and he basically reassured me that it is mostly just a bruise to my pride and that as long as baby is acting normal and I don't have any issues then we should both be just fine.  I'm just a worry wart since this in my first!  :)
