Different versions of Bellaband?

I hear everyone talk about Target, but even Target?s is called something else. Are they all the same? Are there some, better then others?

  • I am sure they are all the same.  All they are is like a tube top made out of stretchy tank type material.

  • I asked this previously and basically it said that the b band from target is ok but the Bella band is the best of the two but there were mixed reviews on the band concept in general... Some ladies prefer to go straight into maternity pants. HTH & congrats! :)

  • I used the BeBand from Target, which I loved and practically lived in for the first like 5 months of my last pregnancy. I loved that I could wear most of my old jeans and work pants and didn't have to spend a fortune on maternity jeans, which are $$$$. I heard some people complain that it "digs" into your skin, which I guess it did a little bit, but that didn't happen until I was pretty big (6 mos or so).

  • My mil got me the bellaband and it stretches from my hips way up and when you are bigger is supposed to sit right under your bra line. Well, since I'm no where near that close, I have to fold it in half and fix it each time I pee. So, currently it is really annoying and I will probably try to find a shorter belly band that I don't have to worry about adjusting every hour. I honestly wouldn't worry so much about the brand as the size/length for the stage you are at in your pregnancy. Just a thought. :)

  • I am wearing one right now called 'Bella Vonna' that I found on eBay.  It's a lot cheaper than the Target one, and for me, I found that the sizing (medium) was better.  (The Target one for me seemed like the S/M was too small and the M/L was too big.)

If you look for this one, they have both a nylon one and a cotton one.  I have the nylon one, and I really like it.  I am wearing it with the bottom of the belly band tucked into my jeans, a rubberband on the jeans button, and then the top of the belly band folded down over the top. I haven't had too many issues with it sliding around.

Whatever brand you go with, I think the most important thing is to try it on and make sure the fit is good for you.

  • Bought mine at Target and have worn them several times this week.  I find them very comfortable and they fit nicely!

  • Mine is just a "belly band" that I got on amazon.com for like $12.  Right now since my belly is more of a pooch I fold it in half and it works great. When the belly gets bigger I'll leave it unfolded.  I don't have any problems with it riding up or anything. I've found that the easiest way for me is to turn it inside out, and pull it low on my hips, then tuck it into my pants- then I fold the top half over my waistband- makes all my work pants like yoga pants.
