ok...last question about dress for shower, I promise :-) I know I'm a pain in the ass.

I know, I'm a huge pain but I have one last question about the dress for the shower. I got the blue one (last one listed) in the mail, tried it on and I love the color and design but I do feel huge in it (there isn't much I feel huge in and I'm ideal weight), although my fiance loves it. I found a new one online (first one listed and think it looks cute and comfy). I don't know if I should order the first or second one. Which ones do you ladies like in order?

I like the first one but HOLY EXPENSIVE! I love pea in the pod clothes but they are too much money for me!

I say go with one you have at home already which is nice.! Or your more than welcome to send that my way

I like the one you have at home the best.  I know what you mean re: feeling big, but show off that bump! I bet it looks great on you. The first one looks too summery, and the second one is NMS and also isn't very "baby showerish" to me.

Yeah, I kind of hear you about the 2nd one not be baby showerish. That's my concern. The first one I'm going to keep as a back up maybe in case it's hot. I tend to run a bit hot sometimes and my shower is the end of May and I live in New England and weather is SO unpredictable. Today it's almost 70 and it's only March 8th so who knows :-)

Not a big fan of the first one, only because I think it won't look very good if you have somewhat larger girls, ruffles don't belong on the chest unless you're trying to make it appear there is something there when there's not. I also agree w/ PP, holy expensive! But, it's your money. I really do like the last one and the second one isn't bad either. Just keep in mind that you will be on display (if you will) at your shower and unless you are going to have your lower half underneath a table w tablecloth, you are going to be probably exposing your guests to alot more than they want to see. Other posters have mentioned that longer dresses or dresses w leggings, tights, etc are the way to go, especially if you will be sitting in a chair in front of the room opening gifts. Most women are fairly large at that point and are not going to be able to keep legs crossed and so on.

I was going to wear hosiery but not tights because it'll be close to May. I hope I can keep my legs together, lol. Thanks for pointing that out, good to know.

 Haha, I know, it's almost like a mumu but I LOVE the color and design. It seems so showerish and for a boy :-)

I LOVE the first dress, followed by the one you have and then the second one. But the distance between the first dress and the others is big for me. The second and third just aren't my style mainly, especially for a baby shower.

 Yeah, I think maybe I'll go with the first one because I already have the 3rd. Maybe it'll be my backup shower dress in case it is hot that day. I don't know, it's so hard when you think everything makes you look big!

The First one is super cute!! I have one like the second one and I look super bumpy in it!! Something about a dot pattern makes the bump come out.

Lol, no problem! Thanks for not taking it the wrong way And I see now why you would want to be a little dressier for your shower, sounds wonderful! I really do like the dress you already have but you need to go with what you think you will be comfortable in. GL!

I like the first on the best then the third then the second. I would wear the second one all the time! Just not to my baby shower. Good luck!

My shower is at the end of April and I live in New England so it could be anywhere from 50 deg to 80 deg because the weather here is so unpredictable. I'm thinking I might do the first one if it's hot and the last one if it's not.

I tried number 2 on and the neck line is funky. I didn't like it. I ended up getting their blue and black striped dress with the bow for my shower. The one that was really flattering and gorgeous in person is the green wrap dress. Of your choices I like number 1 the best!

You may have already made your decision, but here's my shower dress experience, FWIW:

I bought a cute polka dot sundress a month before my shower.  It fit perfectly.  Shower day rolls around, and it was so tight over my bump that the polka dots were stretched into ovals.  I ended up wearing something else.  My lesson learned?  Don't buy anything (especially something super-expensive) that far in advance.  You don't know how your shape will change in 2 months.
