Holy grumpy baby- any ideas?

LO has been a bear for the last 5 days or so. Hes only happy for the first 30mins or so after he wakes up, then its all whining and screaming and temper tantrums. I really think hes bored as hes much happier when we're out, but I just don't know. He been a little more clingy than normal too. He has no teeth yet, so I'm thinking maybe teething? Hes not drooling excessively, but has been chewing quite a bit. Hes not active sick at all and his ears look good too. Hes not pulling on them anymore than normal and no change in his ear wax. I'm so confused!

Anyone go through a grumpy phase with there LO? Did you ever figure out a cause? Thanks!

  • going through it right now! he is the happiest first thing in the morning but then all day whining, and screaming. I can't even make a bottle he crawls into the kitchen screaming bloody murder pulling on my jeans also anytime i try to eat food he loses it. so basically fussy before food, fussy when its gone, fussy when he wakes up from naps and fussy before bed! ahhhhh he's not sick either but totally getting a third tooth i see the little dot

  • This is our life exactly right now!  It's been about 5 days with us too.  We are seeing the doctor today, just incase he has an ear infection.  My gut tells me it's just teething.  He has his bottom two teeth already and wasn't nearly this fussy when those came in.  He is clingy and screams bloody murder off and on all day!  Momma and Daddy are about ready to cry too!!

  • same thing here--- Vin is 7 months old and he's constantly getting upset---and i am always trying new things---i carry him when nothing else works.  it's like h'es mad at the toys etc and he wants to be able to move easily (he isn't crawling yet) --he seems frustrated a lot and yells a lot.  i was actually oging to go on and ask the same question so i'll be watching this post lol good luck - i'm thinking it's teething and also they are mad that they can't do waht they want to do physically--they are smarter than they are physcially able --u know?
