when getting sleepers for baby .. buy the ones with zippers, not snaps (buttons) .. haha, soOo much easier to just zip baby up instead of trying to do 10+ snaps on a squirmy baby .. ! #justsayin
Actually snaps aren't all too bad, especially in the middle of the night when doing a diaper change, you only have to unsnap so far up instead of competely unzipping the entire thing. If you think a one month old is squirmy...wait a few more months or years and you'll really find out what squirmy is.
Sorry no paragraphs, bumping from my phone.

I find it much easier to just unsnap the part I need instead of unzipping the whole outfit.
i wish i could be joking but my dad is the music teacher at a church so he owuld be mad. we had sex, all the time how bad i know but we dont want to wait and he said GREAT OH KAY! and I was really feeling the wets? down there- too embarsed to say- but he acted like man.
I have to agree with the snap PPs. I tried a zipper outfit because I was like, "Oh this is gonna be EASY!!" I was proved wrong quite quickly when I had to change diapers, because its not a just take one leg out deal, I gotta get the other one out as well... Then get both legs back in and her zipped back up (and sometimes she fights getting the leg without the zipper back in). So I've found snaps to be so much easier. For now anyway.
I personally HATE zippered pjs on little babies. Maybe after 6 months they were ok with ds. Completely unzipping them in the middle of the night woke him up so much more than just unsnapping the legs. It's not like you have to unsnap the entire thing when you do a diaper change. Plus, he hated me wrestling and bending his leg to get it in the side that the zipper didn't run all the way down. I was pissed when he outgrew the majority of pjs with snaps.

I agree.
When I had DS someone bought me some zipper sleepers, saying how much easier they were in the middle of the night. And they were fine. But I came to prefer just undoing the bottom few snaps of the sleeper to change a diaper than unzip the whole thing. They're both fine and it comes down to personal preference, but I never had a problem with snaps in the middle of the night.
And I agree with the other PP: if you think an infant is squirmy....
I have some of both but I also prefer the snaps. No accidental pinching, you don't have to open the whole thing, plus the zipper is usuall stiff and scratchy feeling. They have rubbed my babies' skin red at the top of the zipper. Now I do like zippers on sleep sacks!
Or you could go with the baby night gowns that reach past their feet and have elastic at the bottom. Super easy diaper changes in the middle of the night. They can ride up on a squirmy baby, but the sleep sack or swaddler keeps that from being a problem.

I'm on team snaps. With zippers you pretty much have to expose the whole baby, snaps? just expose the are you need access to. Zippers pinch too.
BTW? infants are not nearly as squirmy as a toddler.
