So for those of us that are still around or coming out of lurkdom, let's do a GTKY!

I have been on The Knot, The Nest and Bump since 2004 when planning my wedding.  I posted once in a while on this board, but mostly lurked.  I do miss some of the regulars because a lot have children a year older than mine and it was great to get advice on the next stages. I hope that this board picks up a bit more.

I am a SAHM of 1 DD, who just turned four.  DH and I are still up in the air as to whether or not we will have another child, but will be making a more finite decision this summer.  I like interior design, photography and shopping.

Hey!

I've been here since 2003 on The Knot, Nest, Bump.  I started on the Hawaii board because the Destination wedding knotties took it over.  Then once they all started getting annoyed with TTC/PG/baby talk, I moved to this board.  Always been more of a "responder" vs post originator.  

I SAH with my two girls, almost 5 and 6.  Girls are in Montessori school.  I'm into reading, working out/yoga and traveling!!

Good to meet everyone again!!

I have been on here since 2005. I posted but not as often as some, I do miss the regulars that were on here before, but welcome the new ones!! Come out of lurking and start posting!!!

My daughter is 5, I am 21weeks pregnant with our second child!! I work full time, i enjoy taking pictures, doing scrapbooks, and shopping!!

I've been on the nest since I got married in 2003.  I work PT and have twins, a boy and a girl, that are in Kindergarten and recently turned 6.  I post occasionally.

I also started out on the Knot in 2003 when DH and I got engaged. I can't remember how I found out about the site, but I quickly became addicted with all the crazy wedding planning. Then it evolved into the Nest, I remember lurking on BOTB when there were a lot of snarky women on there. Had my first son in 2006 and ended up spending a lot of time on parenting. My two boys are 5 and 3. 

FWIW, I always found the women on parenting to be supportive and welcoming. I don't know any Nesties (I hate saying Bumpies) in real life, and I keep myself fairly anonymous on here, because as some old regulars have pointed out - ANYONE could be reading these boards. But I think some of them acted a little childish in my post below, alienating some potential newbies. 

In any case, I'm glad to see some new names around here, and I hope the board starts coming to life a little more soon.

I've been around since 2004. I started on the knot when planning my wedding and moved on from there. I am also more of a responder than a post originator but I don't respond all that much either. I'm mostly a lurker. I was an elementary school teacher but I am now a SAHM. I have three kids - DS5, DD3 and DD1. I am LOVING staying at home and now that the weather is getting nicer I am looking forward to spending a lot more time outside!

I joined about a year ago when I was pregnant.  I have one son, and have been married to DH for almost 3 years. 

I like this board because it gave me great ideas over all ages (I've shared several ideas with my sister/SIL for my nieces and nephews - I am a proud aunt of 7).

I am a working mom, enjoy spending time with family, and playing with photography.

Hi, my name is Sarah, I'm a SAHM of 2 boys. Ryan is 6 and in Kindergarten, Caleb is 4 and in Pre-K. DH and I just celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary last month. I'm addicted to Pinterest, and I can't stay away from the Bump, but I do have to say the recent exodus of all the regs has left me a bit sad.

I've been on theknotnestbump since 2001. I was pretty active up until I had DS2. I checked in off and on, but came out of lurkdom about a year ago. Somewhere along the way I lost my post count , so all my posts are from the past year.

Hi.  I'm Patty, mother of two boys ( 5, and soon to be 7).  I've been on the nest since 2004 (knot) and then was on parenting on the nest in 2005.  I've been somewhat sporadic in my posting, but I do keep coming back.  I love the randomness of the nest.  I also have always felt better seeing what other moms are doing/feeling/experiencing that I can relate to.  This is why I keep coming back I guess.  Off to work out. But I'll stop back later....I usually do...:)

I have been on TB since I was pregnant with DD.  I did shy away for some time and recently have been back since becoming pregnant.  I am a SAHM to DD and I am expecting a boy in July.  I enjoy spending time with family, outside, sports, and going to concerts. My husband and I just purchased our first house and it is much more stress then I could ever have thought.   I actually just came across this board and look forward to getting some new ideas.

Been on the Knot/Nest/Bump since 2004 (I think?) when I was wedding planning. I took a hiatus for a while but came back when I was pg and had a Dec '06 baby and have been on again since then.

We have two girls, 5 & 3 and will be welcoming our third (a boy this time) this week!

I like cooking, scrapbooking, traveling, and shopping online excessively for my kids :P

I post occasionally but I mostly lurk. I have been around for awhile- I had my son in 2007. I have two kids- DS is 5 and DD is 3. I am a stay at home mom and I am working on my MA in counseling. I read a ton! I also love shopping and a good glass of wine. We have been relocated 4 times and we are currently waiting on a possible 5th. So I use the Nest as a way to "talk" with others as I am getting used to each new place/meeting people.

I started lurking in 2007 when we started trying to get pregnant.  Took breaks here and there since trying took longer than anticipated.  Had DS in May of 2010 and finally started posting a little bit.  

DS is 21 months now, and I am a SAHM.  DH and I have been married a little over 5 years.  I like to read, workout and sew.

I have been on here since 2006 when I was pregnant with my daughter. I mostly lurk and don't post very much because I am usually on late at night after the house settles down. My post number is funky because I just went back to an old screen name that I had.

We have been trying for a second child since 2010. I had a miscarriage in June 2011 and since then I had a myomectomy in November to remove a fibroid the size of a grapefruit. I was just cleared last month to try again. I also lurk on a few other boards.

I have four dogs and enjoy reading, reality tv and I am addicted to Pinterest. I just have to find the time to do all of the projects I pin.

I have 3 kiddos. Alex is 5.5, Foster is 3 and Emily is 8.5 months.

I work out of the home. I'm a criminal defense attorney.  I lurk a lot, but mostly just respond to posts on here rather than start my own topics.  I am more active on my local board.

I have been around since 2008 when I was pregnant with my son.  I mostly lurk, but do respond once in a while.  I had my daughter in May 2011.  My DH and I have been together 12 years, married 7 years in July.

 I am a 4th grade teacher, but I have been off since May 2011 on maternity leave.  I will return to work for the 2012-2013 school year.  I am really enjoying my time with my kiddos, but will enjoy going back to teaching.  I LOVE teaching children who need a good influence in their life!

I became a member in 2004/2005 when I was getting married.  I haven't been on here since, and I sure wasn't very active.  I just got back on here yesterday.

I am married and together we have a 4 year old son, and we just went off BC last month!  We also have a Basenji. I love to read, am addicted to Pinterest, and scrapbooking!  I work as a Special Education teacher and am also in school!

I've been on theknot/nest/bump since 2004 when I was getting married.  I've never been a huge poster and have gone through a few screennames, but my DH actually got addicted for awhile when we were planning the wedding. Bizarre, yes, but it was pretty funny. It started as a joke--he was making fun of my addiction, but then he started working nights and was bored so he'd go on Planning and Ettiquette (and maybe later Married Life) all the time. Sad to say, he was a regular. What a dork.

Anyhow, now I'm hit or miss on here. I like to come on and see what other people are doing with kids the same age. I have a 3 year old DS and I'm 39 weeks pg with #2. I'm a hs teacher and tomorrow is my last day of work. Woot!

i joined the knot in 08 or 09, don't remember.  married in 10, baby in 11.  i lurked on the bump boards before even becoming pregnant, so although i've only been posting for about a year now, i feel like i've "been" here longer.  i work full time for the government, and in my limited spare time i like to read.

I started on The Knot when I was wedding planning in 2009/2010 but was under a different login.

I got onto The Bump when I first found out I was pregnant in Aug. of 2010. I am so thankful for this site as it has helped me answer many questions, allowed me to vent on a few occasions and given me entertainment with the occasional drama

I have been married since March of 2010 to a wonderful guy. We got pregnant on a fabulous trip to Costa Rica just 4 months into the marriage and now have a beautiful DD. She is 10 months old and we are having a blast watching her grow! She will be our only child so we are enjoying every minute! I work as a high school teacher and am looking forward to having next week off with my DD!

I have been around since 04 on the knot during my wedding planning days. I have 5 yo DD who is in pre-K and a nearly 22mo old DD. I work part-time on the evening shift as an RN on an inpatient psych unit. I don't post a ton, lurk more, but have been around forever-enough to know who all the regulars are/were. I also lurk/post on 12-24mo board and on the health and fitness board. I am like reading, running, wine and food

I've first joined when I was wedding planning in 2004, then lurked a bunch on BOTB when I got PG with DS1 in 2005. Moved over to Parenting after he was born and was somewhat active for a while. Took a break, forgot my password, and created a new name. Now I mostly lurk, answer posts occasionally, but hope to be more active this time around.

I have three boys?almost 6, 4 and almost 2. I work full-time, love to read, ski, run, scrapbook, bake and travel when I can find the time. Which is rarely, these days.

I pop on and off here all the time, but I recognize a lot of the ladies from "back then".  My days were Dazz and cammallama...oh the fun.

I'm a SAHM to my 4 yr old DS. Hope to be able to have more kids soon, but it depends on my health. (I was diagnosed with epilepsy when DS was 2. Need to be seizure-free for x amount of time before my neurologist will consider reducing or changing my meds, which can cause some serious birth defects. Just hit the 1 yr mark! )  

I started on the knot Destination Weddings board in 2004. Moved to the Nest in '05 after the wedding. Started mostly lurking on Parenting in '07 while pg with DS, and have stuck around since. I don't post much, but I love all the tips and advice I've gotten from this board.

Hi!  I've been around since 2008ish (on a regular basis).  I have 2 boys, work FT and my DH is about to finish school (thank the lord!) and start working.  I used to post very regularly on this board, but then got pregnant with DS2 and started posting on my BMB.  I still come back here though and post when I feel I have something to contribute.

I'm a SAHM to two. A 3 year old and an almost 6 year old and married since 2005. 

I'm into photography and looking forward to going back to school when my youngest starts Kindergarten.

I signed up on The Knot in 2004 to plan my wedding. Then moved on to The Nest and mostly hung out in Married Life. Then onto The Bump when I got pg with dd. The ladies on The Bump were the first people to know I was pg, even before dh. I basically took my pg test while they talked me down from my panic.  I've been on Parenting since dd was born in 2007. 

I have come and gone. I've been absent at times due to personal issues. I've been loved and hated on this board. In general, I have always found the ladies on here to be caring and helpful. It's sad to see some of them go off. I have no desire to join the FB group. I will continue to lurk here, come for guidance or to vent, to lend a sympathetic ear. Hopefully I will still see some of the old group from time to time but life goes on, people move on and new is good too.

I started on my local boards in 2001.  I mostly lurk, but I do post parenting questions now and then.  My dd recently turned 6 and will be starting first grade in the fall.  As much as I feel like I *know* many nesties, I'm pretty sure most wouldn't remember me, such is the life of a lurker!
