Start of Labor

I had my membranes stripped yesterday morning. Today I had some bloody show, pretty crampy, and some random contractions. I also have some mild nausea and threw up first thing this morning. Could this be the start of labor?

I had the same thing done yesterday and I experienced the same symptoms. I felt awful all day yesterday. However, I woke up this morning feeling fine, so for me it was not the start of labor. They say IF the membrane sweep works it can take up to 48 hours to get things going. Im hoping something starts happening soon.

But unfortunately what your feeling could be temporary like it was for me. If the contractions get stronger and more frequent then it is labor but if not its just false labor. Its different for everyone.

I'm glad you posted this, I just got back from getting my membranes swept and am wondering what to expect, if anything. Thanks ladies!
