i had the 1st part of my quad screen. honestly, i am really only doing it for the extra u/s. ;-)

baby looks great- pretty "real baby"ish and strong heart beat. i swear i could get an u/s every week. no wonder tom cruise bought an u/s machine!

Yay!  We did the NT scan solely for the extra u/s as well.  I had/have no reason to believe we needed it.

Yay! I know how you feel. I had several extra ultrasounds due to GD and the baby measuring ahead. I didn't mind at all!

Oh yeah, I totally get why they got that u/s machine.  I wish I had one.  I'd have Nestie u/s GTGs and we'd check out all the babies.

I am hoping my doc does one for me at my 17w appointment and doesn't make me wait.

A friend of mine helps run an u/s class at a medical staffing agency.  I love when she calls me to come volunteer my uterus.  I'll take a free ultrasound any day. 

BTW - glad the tadpole is looking great.

you're so lucky!  my dr. never did an u/s on me in her office, even though she had a machine right there in the room.  i guess she didn't think i needed it.

but i'm glad you got to see the tadpole!
