INTRODUCTION - Cautiously moving over from IF boards

Background: Me:28, DH: 33, married June 2011.  I knew we would have conception problems due to no cycles/period since I was 15.  I was a ballet dancer for a long time and for the past 3 yrs took up distance running, so 2ndary amenorrhea due to strenuous workouts and low body fat was havoc on my body:( 

Anyway, had an ER 12/6 and froze all 37 eggs due to possibility of OHSS.  Never had a problem!  27/37 fertilized.  2 perfect Grade 1 embryos were transferred 1/22.  Beta was <1, so they never even implanted.  3 Grade 2 embryos were transferred 2/22.  Beta 10 days later (3/3) was 291.  Beta today (3/5) was 644.  Ultrasound scheduled for 3/19!  Praying for the best!!

Any words of advice?

March 2011: Off Nuva, cycle back to "normal" for me: No periods since 15 years old. June 2011:Provera&50 mg Clomid; Progesterone:0.7 July 2011:Provera&100mg Clomid; Progesterone:3.29 Met with RE:No Clomid response, begin injectables Sep 5 mg Letrozole and Ovidrel in the interim month. Cut out running (was a distance-runner), cycling, eliptical. Restricted to weight-training, walking, pilates. Brain MRI normal. Being physically over-stressed is the reason the body stopped producing prog. Late Sep 2011: Menopur, Ovidrel,& IUI (10.10.11):BFN-Great injectable response: 2 mature, 6 near mature, many smaller; Problem: 9 cysts! Dr: IUI too uncontrolled for number of viable eggs & age. On to IVF! IVF ER 12.6: 37 mature eggs, 27 fertilized, froze all to avoid overstimulation; FET 1.22 (2 Grade 1)=BFN; FET 2.22 (3 Grade 2)=BFP! Beta 10dp3dt=291; 12dp3dt=644; HB 3.26!! 174 bpm: Vanishing twin almost completely absorbed 10wks Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker

    Easier said than done but try to keep preoccupied until your US.

    Congrats!  I'm a nervous wreck too.  Welcome to 1st tri and I'm sending sticky baby dust your way.

    I saw your update on the SAIF board too, congrats!  Those sound like great numbers....almost exactly like mine.  This was a surprise bfp, but my first beta was also 291 and my second one was in the 600's but I don't remember exactly what because I was so excited/shocked!  Just take it day by day, I know that ultrasound won't come soon enough, I have my first one tomorrow and can't wait!  Thank God at my first appt on Fri I could hear the baby's heartbeat....best sound ever.  Good luck with everything!

    Welcome and congrats!

    I was a dancer for much of my life too--until I was 20, got injured, and decided to leave New York and go back to school.  The body issues, both physical and psychological, still haunt me.  Here's to a happy and healthy 9 months for you--and for all of us!
