Talk to me about prefold sizing

We have a one year old and are TTC #2. We got the Jillian's Drawer's trial, and decided to send back the fancy diapers and go with a prefold/cover combo. My goal is to diaper both kids without having to buy 6 different sizes of diapers. 

The  premium Osocozy prefolds that came in the trial fit our 1 year old perfectly, but I'm not sure if I should buy toddler size to be on the safe side? I'm looking at Green Mountain Diapers to build my stash if that makes a difference in sizing choices. 

 Please help. Oh, and if have a brand of prefolds that you love, please tell me.

    O, but I really liked the orange edge for newborn. She was 8 lbs 5 oz. We had the yellow but didnt use them as much right away. The plus is that you can get an entire dozen for the price of one AIO

    This is the part I love. Plus the AIO and Pocket diapers gave her such a big booty that her pants weren't fitting. 

    It sounds like I'm definitely going to need a few dozen of the red edge. I think I'm going to get some brown edge too, just to be on the safe side.
