How much B6 for m/s?

I've heard vitamin B6 can help with m/s, and I want to try it before taking the Rx the OB is calling in for me because I'm reading online that Reglan (what the OB called in for me) can have some nasty side effects. If you're taking B6 in addition to your prenatal to help with m/s, how much are you taking and how often? Not sure if this is standard, but the B6 my DH brought home is in 100 mg tablets (the Target brand).

  • My doc says 50mg in the morning and 50mg at night with 1/2 - 1 unisom tablet.  I just took my first 50mg and I am praying it helps because I have been so sick.  I could only find 100mg tablets too - I just cut it in half.
  • I was on 200mg 2x daily, though I only took it at night and it seemed to help- though I was on unisom and phenergan too.
