I have been MIA for the last month or so, but just wanted to stop in while my little munchkin is sleeping. 

Wednesday, 2/15, we went into L&D for a scheduled induction at 6am.  They started the pitocin at 7am.  At 9am my water was broken (which was not as horrible as I had imagined).  The contractions were very uncomfortable and by noon, I could not handle the battle that was happening between my ute and bladder.  Noon was when the lovely Dr came and hooked up the epi.  DH got to stay in for this and I got to hold onto him while they administered the epi.  Within 10 min I was much more comfortable.  The baby was not handling the contax as well though.  We had to cut the pit in 1/2 and wait to see how he handled it at that point.  By 8:45pm, I started pushing.  LO did not want to descend through my pelvis.  I pushed for 45min, waited for 20min, then pushed for another 10min at which time the nurse was ready to call my OB.  At 10:30pm we figured out that he was having such a hard time making it through my pelvis b/c his hand was on his face and he was not handling the contrax b/c the cord was wrapped tightly around his neck.  They cut the cord and at 10:34pm, my little Grant Robert was born.  It was a bit scarey there for a minute b/c he was not crying, but grunting.  Apparently he was having a tough time breathing b/c of some fluid so they gave him a bit of oxygen and he was fine.  Just not much of a crier, although the same could not be said about Mommy or Daddy.  I was crying b/c I could see my beautiful baby on the warming table kicking and moving around.  Our beautiful baby we had prayed and worked so hard for.  The nurse kept reassuring me that he was fine, which I knew, but my tears were happy tears; as were the ones from DH.

    Diagnosis: Blood clotting and bleeding disorder, immune issues, & cervical stenosis
    5/10 - 1st IVF cycle - BFN
    FET - 10/12/10 - BFN
    1/11 - IVF with PGD - BFN
    IVF - May - BFN
    6/11 New RE - fingers crossed!
    9/11 - IVF - 4 transferred
    10/13 - BFP!!
    It's a boy! Clint Michael, Due in June!!!

    Good size!! Congrats on your cutie boy!! The cord stuff is scary!! We went to emergency c-section last Friday after my son was having dcels, the cord was wrapped around his belly. Congrats again and enjoy your lil guy!!

    11/03/13 - 11/05/13: Add Ganirelix to the mix
    11/06/13: 3 follicles at 18mm-- Ready to trigger!
    11/08/13: ER-- 17R, 13M, 8F
    11/13/13: 5dt-- 2 blasts (Luke and Leia) 5AB and 4AB, 1 frostie
    11/20/13- 11/23/13: light positives on FRERs and Wondofos
    11/22/13: BFN per RE office (under HCG of 10)
    11/27/13: CP ::sigh::

    *12/03/13: Follow up...great response and quality this time, was given 50% chance of it working, just didn't stick. Great plan for 2014! 

    **Jan 2014: Last IVF of our SRP**
    IVF w/ICSI, freeze all, then FET
    12/27/13: Start BCPs
    01/19/14: Stims (375 IUs Gonal-F + 75 IUs Menopur)
