Hi Everyone,
So my husband and I just found out on Tuesday that we are having twin boys! We are 19 weeks along and were just going for the first ultrasound to see if it was a boy or girl (we thought there was just one!) and were shocked to find out that there are twins in there!
Anyway, we are very excited but also a little overwhelmed at this point. I am looking for suggestions of what is a necessity to have 2 of and what we only need one of? Any "must-haves" that we should register for? Any help, suggestions or advice you have for us at this time would be great!
Thanks so much!
Re: Intro, twins boys and suggestions needed!
Welcome and congrats! This is a fellow poster's blog and is a good place to start!

obviously 2 carseats. I think 2 bouncy seats are a must. The Double Snap N Go is great to pop both carseats in in the beginning. If you plan to breast feed, the EZ 2 Nurse pillow is a must for tandem feeding. i also have a boppy to prop babies or if I'm only nursing one at a time.
I would only get one swing. I bought a travel swing in addition to the full size swing (which we had from my daughter), and haven't used it. Hit the consignment sales for anything you don't get at your baby shower!
Good luck!
This! We got away with only 1 swing but needed 2 bouncers. EZ2 nurse was a must for BFing. And consigment sales or garage sales are great (found my DSNG at a garage sale). I would recommend 2 jumpers when they are big enough (both our boys loved them), a smaller double stroller like the umbrella style for when they grow out of the DSNG to use for shopping etc but if you plan to take walks outside I found that a jogger stroller works way better, and maybe 2 Pack n Plays. We used the PnPs when we went on vacation and currently use both (one for napping and one for time out). Instead of highchairs we have the seat savers which have been great so far because they are smaller and easy to take places if necessary. I would NOT recommend going overboard on clothes. I bought a bunch and got a TON at my shower (people love to buy clothes for twins!). The boys are 15months and I have clothes in sizes n-12mo with tags still on. HTH and good luck!
